An exhibition of the materials discovered from the salvage was held from 7 May to 30 September 1994 at the Antiquities and Monuments Office. The publication summarised the work done by the Hong Kong Archaeological Society in Chek Lap Kok between 1990-1991. Major excavations had been made on Fu Tei Wan, Ha Law Wan, Kwo Lo Wan and Sham Wan Tsuen. The project was completed in September 1994.
