Heritage Talk: Hong Kong Neon Sign Artwork's History and Aesthetics

A heritage talk jointly organised by the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust and the Hong Kong Public Libraries was held on 13 August 2022. The speaker Mr Brian KWOK, Associate Professor of School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and author of the "Hong Kong Neon Sign Artworks - Vol. 1 Restaurant" and "Fading of Neon Lights: Documentation of Hong Kong Streets' Visual Culture" shared the preliminary analysis of the neon sign artworks' history and aesthetics, including shapes, letterings, colours and symbols, etc.
