Heritage Talk: Development of Ritual Performances of Cantonese Opera in Hong Kong

An on-line public talk organised by the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust and the Hong Kong Public Libraries was released on 31 March 2021 to introduce the public the development of the ritual performances of Cantonese opera in Hong Kong. First part of the talk focused on past and recent development of Ritual Performances of Cantonese Opera in Hong Kong for the period from 2016-2018 and rise of young performer. A video about back stage and on stage of ritual performance included.

Second part of the talk was about the impact of the Pandemic on the development of the Ritual Performances of Cantonese Opera, and an interview with Prof YUEN Siu-fai and Mr TAM Wing-lun, Alan.
