Brief Description of the Project
The project aims to record and study the tonal characteristics and transmission of different Cantonese chanting schools in Hong Kong, including the four major schools of Mr HO Suk-wai (何叔惠), Mr CHU Yong-chai (朱庸齋), Prof SO Man-jock (蘇文擢) and Prof SHEUNG Chun-ho (常宗豪).
