Brief Description of the Project

This project aims to set up an online database of the names and details of the 94,000 men of the Chinese Labour Corps and 1,500 Chinese who died in Allied service during the First World War.

The Project deliverables included:

A website containing a searchable database of (i) the Chinese Labour Corps; (ii) known Mercantile Marine casualties; and (iii) known details Chinese in the French service
