Brief Description of the Project
The Trust approved a grant to Prof John Wong Yue-wo for conducting a study on Sun Yatsen’s activities in Hong Kong during his formative years (1883-95). Hong Kong is the place where Sun Yatsen received his secondary and tertiary education and was baptised. The study aimed at ascertaining the profound influence of Hong Kong on Sun Yatsen during his formative years from 1883 to 1895. The study was completed in March 2003.
