Brief Description of the Project

The Trust approved a grant to the Department of Architecture of The Chinese University of Hong Kong to host the International Conference on Chinese Architectural History from 7 to 10 August 1995. The conference provided a platform for the world’s foremost scholars in Chinese architectural history from China, Japan, USA, France, UK, Denmark, Taiwan and Singapore to exchange their research findings. The conference also enabled participants to know about Hong Kong’s effort in discovering, recording and preserving its own heritage.
