Brief Description of the Project
The objectives of the project were to record and analyse systematically the tombs, inscriptions, memorial artefacts, and personal data of those buried in the Catholic Cemetery at Happy Valley in the 19th century. The Centre for Catholic Studies had organised exhibitions, seminar and guided tours on the same subject; a booklet was published as well. All these aimed to reveal an artistic and historical perspective of the Catholic Cemetery and to help public acquire a more positive way of thinking towards burial places in general.
