Heritage Talk: The Culture and Artistry of Chinese Traditional Costume in Hong Kong (1940-1970)
To promote heritage preservation of the general public, a heritage talk titled "The Culture and Artistry of Chinese Traditional Costume in Hong Kong (1940-1970)" was held on 13 May 2017 at the Jao Tsung-I Academy which attracted the attendance of over 80 members of the public. With detailed illustrations, Ms FUNG Kwai-fong shared her on-going project which aims to promote the appreciation and understanding of the traditional Chinese costume craftsmanship through organising a series of educational programmes; and the history and culture of the Chinese traditional costume in Hong Kong.
